Produced with an overhead projector, this video explores relationality through the image of a handle, the literal and metaphoric object that mediates connections between our bodies and the world, or between one body and another.  A handle is a versatile element: it serves as an entryway, offers support, operates as a linguistic sign, functions as a libidinal object, represents a bodily form, and acts as a practical tool.  As an in-between operator, it is not only a question of use, but one of structural support and frames of recognition, the processes by which we come to know, love, or experience one another.
