To produce this video and animation, Downey worked with mixed media (ink, gels, vinyl) on the surface of an overhead and filmed the resulting projection. Using their own body and language as material, their interaction with these projections dissolves binaries between representation and abstraction, internal and external landscapes, and legibility and opacity.

Several plexiglas plates used to produce the video work were printed to make a series of monotypes (with Marina Ancona / 10 Grand Press).
